Raising Energy

I've mentioned before about what has been called 'karmic energy'. This energy is the life force that drives us. When it's high the senses are heightened and we experience sensations that can be ecstatic. When the energy is low, we get depressed and the senses are dulled. When Moses came down from the mountain with the Ten Commandments it was said that his face shone to such an extent that he had to wear a veil to avoid blinding people who looked at him. This was the power of his energy. Mysticism is, in part, the process of raising energy.

This energy is powerful. The Ark of the Covenant was a machine for raising energy and the priests who operated the Ark wore bells as part of the attire. These bells served to ground the energy in the same way as the ground on an electrical appliance does. The uninitiated who touched the Ark were immediately killed by the force of the energy.

There are two aspects to gaining energy: raising energy and preventing its dissipation. Whenever we eat, drink or breath we intake energy but most of us dissipate this fruitlessly so, by the end of the day, we have no more energy than when the day started.

There are techniques for raising energy but without being able to direct this energy into constructive processes this would be counterproductive. I've mentioned before how people who get what they wish for sometimes come unstuck. What they wanted wasn't what they needed. I've also mentioned that as you raise energy you become closer to reality, in fact your ability to bring about what you want is heightened, but this has destructive as well as constructive potential.

The raising of energy is like the formation of stars. Over billions of years clouds of gas and particles gradually move together under their own gravitational pull until, eventually, the matter particles move so close together that atomic fusion takes place and a star is created. When this occurs the star produces its own energy. It creates light instead of simply reflecting light. Eventually if this process of gravitational pull goes far enough the star turns into a black hole and even light cannot escape. The matter has formed a hole in our space-time continuum and has gone through into a separate reality.

The way to stop energy leaking out is awareness. Being aware means that we become attuned to where our energy is being dissipated. It also hones the concentration to a point. This 'point' of concentration, a centre of awareness, is the centre to which the gravity pulls.

Like people who seek more information when they don't use what they have, people want to raise more energy when they simply dissipate what they have mindlessly.
